The Story of One Model
The short story:
The Founders, various members from almost every function, and the majority of the product development team were born, raised, and currently live in Australia. One Model is an Australian-made software tool because it was built by Aussies with their unique needs in mind. Our history and unique Aussie ingenuity has embedded in us the need to build something greater than the status quo. That's why One Model is more transparent, more flexible, and pulls together more information than any other people analytics tool on the market.


The long story:
One Model was not invented out of thin air. After years of building analytics tools for other tech companies, Chris, Dave, and Matthew wanted to revolutionise the people analytics space. What was the problem? HR teams were struggling to do it on their own. To answer simple questions like "What's our gender pay gap?" was a massive project. Other analytics companies did not help with data extraction outside of basic APIs nor allowed companies to get their hands on their transformed, analytics-ready data. They were giant black boxes.
Chris, Dave and Matthew's common goal was to create a responsive and predictive people analytics platform that pulls together an organisation's complex data and makes it easily accessible. Essentially, helping their customers make informed decisions and unlocking their people and organisations' true value!
To make their goal a reality, they set to work hiring some of the best minds in Australia and colleagues from around the world they had previously worked with. With the US being the largest market, they set up 2 headquarters. One in Austin, Texas, and the other in Brisbane, Queensland.
Together, we're working to make One Model the award-winning world leader in this evolving and exciting industry. For APAC, our experience, innovation, and leadership supplement an impressive local team of talented AI/people analytics people, who intimately understand the Australian and global market, workforce trends and demands.
